It’s looking like a mini-blizzard out there. I didn’t expect to see this in October! I do remember it being so cold we had to bundle up tight for Trick-or-Treating when I was a kid though, back in the 80s, and that was in Maryland. Maybe this isn’t so unusual after all. Maybe it’s more like things going back to the way they were before. Regardless, it’s snowing, and it’s getting me in the Christmas spirit before we’ve even gotten past Halloween.
It’s not supposed to stick, thankfully. I can do without piles of snow on the roads for a few more weeks at least. I’m planning on moving to a new apartment and I have absolutely no experience driving in snow. Hurricanes, yes. Snow, no.
Good luck. Some of it is pretty dry reading.

I'm late! But yeah, this snow storm was chaos. I like snow but had never seen anything like this. The tree branches and trees were just coming down and it was really dangerous. I have catching up to do on your blog still… heh. I will! I will!

Ah, you mean the news was rehashing old stories there? They're still talking about it on the news here, too, but at least it's more relevant. They're talking about areas where lots of branches snapped off and the power is out.

I saw the tv weather reports of that region last night and I thought geez that's old news. Heard all about it already.

Nope. Just started seriously searching. I was waiting until all the other ducks were in a row.

That was awkward. I followed the link and it took me to the mobile version of this page. I'm on a desktop computer. =)I'm glad to hear you made it home safely. It looked ugly from inside. The wind sounds like it's really picking up now too. My worst driving experience was during a hurricane in Georgia. The rain was coming down so hard I was doing 15 mp/h in the “fast” lane on a major highway, and so was everyone else. I couldn't see more than 5 feet in front of my car, so I was probably still going faster than I should have.

Good stuff. I agree, seeing this snow, and driving in it were two different things, but i'm already looking forward to Christmas. Driving was terrible today. Downed trees, power wires, car sliding… Just glad to be home.
